3 Truths and a Lie is an addition and subtraction maths activity that students LOVE to play as a whole class or as a small group!
Each cards has 4 number sentences - 3 of them are correct (TRUTH) and 1 of them is incorrect (LIE). Students need to identify which number sentence is the LIE on each page.
It supports students to develop an understanding of equivalence, as each number sentence positions the equals sign differently (see images for example).
